About Me:
I am Baran Yardimci, an aspiring indie/ alt rock artist based in Torbay, Devon. My musical journey began back when I was 6 years old and my father bought me my first guitar, this caused me to create an obsession with listening, playing and writing music as I taught myself guitar and opened myself up to have an extremely eclectic music taste. For now, I play bass and guitar and write music both for my band 'Full Disclosure' and work on my own solo material. These 2 different musical projects show my vastness in musical direction as Full Disclosure is a hardcore post-grunge band with heavy hitting guitar music whereas my solo material is far more introspective being inspired by the likes of Nick Drake and Elliott Smith while still having a hint of the loudness of distortion guitar pulling from artists such as Title Fight and Sunny Day Real Estate. Right now with both my projects I have music out which i will link below, I released my first solo sing 'Mockery' on the 1st July 2025 and shortly after came out with my band Full Disclosure's first single 'Sidelined'.

Jacob - Baran is a multi instrumentalist who is skilled and knowledgable in the field of music. In the last few years he has built his confidence up onstage which has ended with him now fronting his own band. Barans progress in music is utterly admirable.

Move, Exeter:
Earlier this year we played at Move in Exeter which is a nightclub, this was for a grassroots band showcase that locally known events company 'Obvious Events' put on and selected us to perform at.

The following videos include some other songs we performed at the same gig including 2 unreleased originals (Obstruction, Chambered) as well as a cover of Limp Bizkit's 'Break Stuff' which we did due to it being Fred Durst's birthday on the day of the gig.

Brixham Pirate Festival:
In May of this year, we were able to land our biggest gig yet, opening for the headliners of the Brixham Pirate festival 'The Groggy Dogs', roughly 30,000-40,000 people attend the festival each year which was easily our largest audience yet.
In this video we are covering The Smashing Pumpkin's 'Zero' and this post gained quite a lot of traction, even getting put on the story of smashing pumpkins guitarist Kiki Wongo with her also commenting on the post in question.

This instagram post has a selection of photos and videos from our gig at the well regarded Exeter Phoenix which many popular and contemporary artists have played at before.
Within the post videos of the aforementioned 'Sidelined', unreleased originals such as 'Smoker's Lungs', 'Obstruction', 'Blunt, 'Chambered' as well as 'War Pigs' by Black Sabbath to commemorate Ozzy Osbourne as he had recently passed away at the time of this performance.

Solo:
With the band we plan to release our second original 'Smoker's Lungs' sometime around late November-early December and have a studio session already all booked for it.
As for gigs we will be emailing and getting into contact with several local venues to keep our presence in the local alternative scene alive.
As for my solo material I plan for one of my song ideas to be fully recorded in college at some point before the year ends.
This will precede an EP which I will then try and promote via busking and playing small venues as I am quite inexperienced with solo performing and will start off wherever I can.
